yep, every year I go through the same depression this time of year. I believe it is SAD- Seasonal Affective Disorder. My therapist recommended getting light bulbs with UV rays meant to help with this. It tricks the brain, so you don't go into hibernation mode. I think I'm part bear LOL
thanks gizzy yeah I will be 29 again on the 29th of this month. we need to just hang tight for the winter, spring is only a few short months away. lol
Sounds like you may suffer from SAD Seasional Affective Disorder..And.. studies show that one of the main causes is lack of sunshine... They do make artificial lights to help with this... Not sure if they really help cuz there's something about getting OUTside with the sunshine (and Fresh.. air)
Hang in there and HAPPY BIRTHDAY...
I had nooooo idea about the Winter Blues till I moved over here. The days are getting shorter and you're craving daylight and sunshine. Try to take Vitamin D, it really helps and eat lots of fat fish, like salmon.
Hang in there!!! xoxoxo. Sophie.
I don't like this time of year much either, work is winding down, days are shorter and it's colder. My winter blues always come in February, it seems after 3 months of hibernating i start to go crazy, lol. Hang in there scaredmom and happy birthday to ya soon. When is the date of it? Are you gonna be 29 again:)
