5MIL METHADONE HELP

Hi i have been on methadone for nearly 2 years i started on 50mil but have since reduced to 5mil. I am at the stage now where i want to stop completely today. Could anyone give me some information on how long i will be ill for how many days, and how bad i will be what symptons i will get. Any help much appreciated thanks

iv been on methadone for 10 yrs im 29 from nsw i did come down to 15 mg n jumped on to the bupe tyhen come straight off that but then i started useing the bupe incorectly so i got back on the done 70mg im now on 12halfmg witch is 2?mls reduceing half a mil once a week havent felt anythink yet but i was thinking on my last ml to swap to the bupe subutex for under a week  i am a big baby when it comes to hanging out so i will get a couple of pills for the night time but the slower u go the better let me no hang ur going pls

Hey man, I am at the point where I have been trying to get off methadone for alittle over two month. I have been deeling with alot of sweeting, upset stomach, lite tremmers, and just ache's and not to much sleep. I will tell you this that if it is done right, ( so I have heard ) most side effects that I listed will be very light if at all. I tried to get off real quick and I had to go back up on my dose and start over due to the withdrawl. It seems that you are doing very well by coming down to where you are at now, I hope this helped a little, im still getting off myself, I wish you the very best, and I hope there is know problem getting off methadone.  Stay Strong and God Bless.     lan002

Also after your last dose it should be out your system in 10 to 14 days.

hey, I've been on methadone for five years I come from 95 mil to 49 I'm comming down 2mill a week.
How do you feel now?
Did you take your time w/ your taper?
are you at a clinic or going through a doc?

Can anyone answer this persons question. I know nothing about methadone and didn't want this to get lost in the forum.
