back surgery

just an update going to have another back surgery here in near future still in alot of pain and dr's still have me taking the pain killers agian been about amonth getting really scared trying to do it smart or think so not taking them on the weekends to give body rest even thoough that keeps me in bed keeps my mind right about takeing the evil things gonna have to get in and out of surgery as fast as I can to decrease time I should need them. gonna be one hell of a year. was off all pain killers for 26 months little over 2 years hope that helps with any hard core relapse not haveing the feelings of it yet but everyday I am waiting and trying to block that. thanks to all you that helped me in the past I might need the help agian

Hey there. How are you doing? Is the back doing good? I just had L4-5 microdiscechtomy. I believe that mine was a success. I am hoping yours was too. I'd also like to know the recovery time for you.

I am sorry u r in pain...chronic pain..back surgery pain is a bumber..I hope the surgery helps in the long run..then it will be worth feeling uggy right now for a bit
I remember u from when i first came on here....lots of clean time behind u...26 months is a lot//bout what i have i think..dont really keep up with it but my tracker does  (:

Yup I feel your pain my friend back surgery sux and that was when my pill taking went to a whole new level after surgery cause ihad so many pills I was prescribed and I let myseld get out of control even tho I knew the withdrawals would b back cause I was an addict before surgery and I knew I was but like a dummy after surgery I got the meds for as long as they would possibly give them to me and didn't even try to come off of the darn things whenbi should have like 4 or 5 weeks post surgery nope I kept getting meda for like 4 months after suregery

Sorry to read that you have been in such pain and are having another back surgery.. Prayers are going up for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.. I also believe with your determination that you will come out the other side.. it is good to see you post.. wish it was not under these circumstances though.. lesa
