Home Finally!

After I called my husband from school and told him I felt like something was really wrong, my blood pressure had dropped to 60/40, he rushed me to the hospital. They admitted me and  I had to spend a week in there running test after test.  While there, every IV access they used became infected and I got flebitis (I guess that's how you spell it), and my arms are still swollen from it.  Needless to say, the cause of my blood pressure issues is as follows.  A "Normal" person is suppose to have an artery going to each kidney.  I had 3 very small arteries going into my left kidney.  Due to their size, one of them had a kink in it and it was telling my brain there was a problem.  I had angioplasty yesterday and the dye opened it up.  They also changed my blood pressure mediine to something that wouldn't bottom my pressure out when it went up.  They discharged me last night and I spent today trying to regain my strength so I can go to work tomorrow.

I just wanted to say "Thanks" to all my friends on here who prayed for me.  Hopefully this will fix my problems and I will get back to my old self.

I am already about to go crazy by being "locked up", my mind is starting to play evil tricks on me.  For example, I had to go to the drug store and get my new blood pressure medicine filled this morning, and after I got home, my tooth that has to have a new crown on it started hurting really bad just all of a sudden.  I called my dentist who was working at his office out of town, and they made me an appointment for november 4th and called in some medicine for me.  He called in lortab (which my husband has and I haven't taken any because I don't want to get started down that road unless absolutely necessary) and he also called in an antibiotic.  Anyho, the pharmacist asked me my social security number.  I have used the same pharmacy for 20 years, so why did they all of a sudden need my social security number?  Should I be worried?  I hate feeling like this.

I agree with Lostdreams - perhaps you should stay home tomorrow and rest some more.  I'm glad they found out what's wrong!!!!  So happy about that.  You've been in my prayers!
