Love the spring air

I just love this spring air we have been having this last week. The morning smells the sound of the birds the wind all of it as a whole make this one of my favorite times of year and to think less than a year ago I had no faith I would ever have the ability to experience this feeling of awe at God's handiwork. Eh? Well I can be thankful I was wrong in thinking it was gone the ability to enjoy nature. I had an all nighter last night. Spent a few hours at a friends house last night just bs'ing and now I am here waiting for the sun to rise so I can get outside to take care of a few things around the house I have been procrastinating on doing. Listening to some old music ripping it to my puter and memories are flooding in my head. Cinderella to be exact eighties glamor rock but hey its great to hear this old but good music. Hey I am getting closer to my one year mark wow and I thought I might not make it here again as I had a long period of sobriety until my accident brought me under a surgeons knife and back on the drugs which seemed like it had the best of me with no chance of recovery anymore for me. Well God has other plans for me and for this I am forever thankful. Well lots of thoughts lots of things running through the head right now so thanks for listening friends. Yeah I made it past the one year mark. Hip Hip Hooray for blessings and god's forgiving heart. Man I thought I would not get back on track regarding sobriety but with god's mercy I have gotten thus far. OK now to make it to the next hurdle 13 months.

You have no idea how happy i am reading this Mike!!   You have so much to be grateful for.  Spring is in the air and it smells so new and yes Cinderella rocks!!!  I had LA Guns blaring here last night!!!
