Thanks for all of your suggestions! Jonboi76, I saw the amino acids and withdrawals post and I have started on those and started tapering down. Now I am just going to quit from the rest of what I have and go for it! I have been building these amino acids for about 5 days now, and I know it won't cure the withdrawals but I also know it will soften the blow. I was in a situation where I didn't have my pills with me for 3 days, but I had been taking a lot of vitamins and serovital and it really really helped with the pain of the restless legs. I should have quit right then and there, but I'm an idiot! So thanks for all the support everyone! I am so glad I didn't do the Weismann Method! I read a ton of research about and eagle 101 u were so right about there is no quick fix! Thanks guys! Ill keep y'all posted!

I'm detoxing off a 16yr ride on methadone & I know exactly what u mean about just getting by on the meds your on Its not nice at all just as bad as chasing the next hit from your dealer.. God bless stay strong & kick the sh¤t out of this addiction. Jon
Even an expensive rapid detox will not solve the major problem. And that is most likely psychological to a great extent. You are at that point where you are simply chasing the dragon quite often. Its a point of diminishing returns, for sure. Many show up here for a few weeks - and many of those people come back and relate how they messed up and became addicted yet again. There is no rapid magic fix.....sorry, it just doesnt happen with this issue. Just quiting the narcotics is the easy part....staying quit is the hard part.
The #1 thing that will get you through it is your will power. Have a reason to quit, a good reason. What will you lose because of this? Your kids? Your life? My suggestion is to either use sick time and cold turkey, or taper off. I'm not going to lie to you, with drawls is going to hurt and be the worst experience of your life, but it'll be OVER within 5-8 days. Just call it 8 days...8 days vs the rest of your life, free from the chains of a drug. The best thing you can do is be motivated, that's how I did it. However if you're asking for ways to lessen pain, if you go to my profile, I made a post called "going through with drawls" and I detail how I made my detox as painless as I could. STAY STRONG...Trust me, we KNOW how much it hurts ..we really do.
Hi.. try to have a strong will power and recover yourself by going to rehab centers so that you will be back to your life in a healthy way.. Taking those pills may have side effects and it also may ruin your life.. Think of kids and act now..
