Hey all...

Busy at work so it may take me some time to catch up on the posts.  Just wanted to pop in and say hello and good morning (or afternoon to a lot of you).  Today is day 2 and I am feeling good.  I think the w/d haven’t been bad because the relapse wasn’t for a long period of time.  When I tapered and quit, and then relapsed and quit, I got very lucky.  I’m not going to push that luck again!

Wanted to get on after work last night but we bought a car.  Yay!  They totalled out the car Josh got in the accident with.  We weren’t sure if they were going to or not but we were praying they would.  When we bought the last car we traded in our van and still owed a lot, so they added that to the car loan.  Josh was smart and got GAP insurance, so it would cover the difference between what the insurance pays out and what we owe.  So by totaling it, it wiped out the extra we owed on the van!  I would never ever wish that my family had gotten into that accident, but knowing they are okay and that everything is taken care of is a really good feeling.  We went out and bought another car that was more expensive, and our payments are LESS because of not having the extra on there.  We love the new car… we took the kids out last night to Grandma’s house in it (an hour drive each way) so they got to play.  It was a nice night.

By the time I got home I was wiped out.  Took a xanex which helped me get some sleep.  Sleep has been a real issue for me lately…

Oh and one other thing - you are a nice hubby to get that car for your wife.  I want a Mustang so badly but I think my husband secretly thinks I will kill myself in one of those too! lol I have a lead foot.

May i ask what your story is - I am sorry it is not coming to me right now.  How much you took, etc?

We learned our lesson gap a couple cars ago.  It really made a difference a
few weeks ago when we bought my wife a new car..a bright red Mitsubishi
Eclipse.  Now, if we can keep her from getting tickets.

Congrats on the new car!!!  That is so awesome that they totaled out the other one and that you had GAP.   I never get GAP and always wonder if I should.  I will the next time I buy a car.

Hi jen - congrats on your new car and day 2!

I know sleep is a major issue.  I think that is one of the worst parts of w/d but you remember sweetie it will get better.

I want a new Mustang but my husband is being a **** and won't let me get one.  He says I could only drive it half the year due to the weather.  Whatever I want it!  wah! lol

I want a new car.... my hubby is very enviro conscious so he wants me to get a hybrid or something really economical with gas... I of course want a styling car...
