I originally had something else but everyone was calling me rosy back then transposing the letters... I was talking to Vic about it and she gave me this screen name! Back then I definitely did not feel ROSY or ALRIGHT  but now, most days, I do!!

My name came from my dear old departed dad. He once told me that Sonrissa meant Sun Rise. I've always likes that. I've since been told that it actually means Smile. Either way, I still like it. :)

Well, I'd sorta have to go along with IBK here....mine is pretty self-explanatory....I was 55 days clean when I found MedHelp....and it's all I could think of at the time.

My avatar:  Kansas is the Sunflower State.....sunflowers "seek the sun"...face the light.....and have strong roots...some get to be 15 ft tall.

Plus, when I was a young thang....the first dozen roses my hunk (now long time hubby) sent me were addressed to "Sunshine"....thought it was about time to let my sun shine again~

My name has been my nick name since I was young, I would always play in the excavators in my dads place of work, his friends started calling me digger, it stuck! Then once I started work, driving excavators, it made even more sense, now I get called Dig by most people! The 1976 part, well I'm not tellin, haha!

OK..I too graduated High School in 1973. I moved away from home at 17 to Lake Tahoe and finished High School Early. I had enough credits to get out on the first half. lol
I too did not know what was going on with the name thing. I was on MH many Years ago looking up Meds. Did not know this area was here. Darn!!!
So I came on as vvic. Part of my first and last name. Then I kept signing out with Mooselips or Idahovic.. EvolverU gave me my new name. She thought it took courage to come off of three meds at once with no taper or any other meds to help. BUT Believe me if I was on here first I would of did it a bit different so my Detox would of not took so long..lol
I love coming up with names..I think of them all the time for other people. It is fun..We should do a post on some of the name we can come up with..I have many..lol

Weaver is a school days name that some still call me, it's short for "Dream Weaver, take me through the night." 71 is the number of really bad things I got away with. It reminds me to make amends for being born. I was way to sick to be creative my first day on MH. Though it could describe my driving or even my way smooth swagger. No, it's not a limp!
