Oil Oil everywhere

What is gonna happen? You would think that someone, somewhere has made plans for something like this...Who is watching over these off shore rigs?  My son and his family had to cancel summer vacation...in Florida...

BP dont care....look at their profit for the yr...and dont we have someone, somewhere watching, checking on this stuff? Yes we do....well they are getting paid a HUGH salary to watch these rigs...but.....they are not doing their jobs...they are getting paid off...when they are supposed to go out and check these rigs...they are being  taken on fishing trips...and such...it all falls back on OUR elected officials...
I watch the news everyday...watching the wildlife dying or being caught and cleaned....the beaches being covered in oil...the fishermens lifes be destroyed...going bankrupt...BP needs to step up....BP needs to go bankrupt paying for this mess...Makes me sick...

When it comes right down to it show me an oil company that cares. Where there is oil there is greed. Greed leads to cutting corners in order to make even more money and that leads to errors and more errors. The main word for mistakes that companies as big as BP with great power use is,"Oops!"  Do you remember Erkle who says with great dismay," Was that me?" That is the face that the CEO of BP wants us to beleive is his true face when in fact it is just a mask. If they manage to get rid of him, he will just slink away to some exotic place where he and his millions will sit and contemplate his toenails. You can bet that he may even have a slight twinge of conscience which will be overcome by his money.

you would think they would have had some contingent plans for something of this magnitude but  since they were in such deep water they were in too deep. Literally pardon the pun. Its getting to be a sticky situation down here too. oops pardon that pun too but it is scary watching the wildlife die off as it comes ashore. I pray that they clean this mess sooner than later it is an enormous boo-boo in our Eco system.

i just saw a BP commercial with the CEO trying to improve their image. they haven't even got the stupid thing plugged yet and they're already spending millions of dollars on trying to keep their stock up. rediculous! that money should be going to the thousands of  fisherman who are going to loose real money the next few years over this thing...or to the families of those who were killed.......or to wildlife agencies...or just to help clean the stupid spill up.

seriously.....BP should be banned from America, period....and hopefully all other countries will do the same. if you can't abide by simple preventative standards, you shouldn't exist as a company...and it seems BP can't.

I'm with Sara...My-mayberry you have my vote...and the CEO of BP should be made to take a dive in the midst of all that sludge.  I'm not a violent man but he should be shot or at the very least removed from his position.  I'm not a "green nut" either...but this is absolutlely disgusting and horrifying.

It makes me ill. I listen to the CEO of BP say" the Gulf is big and this won't effect it as much as we think it will" he also said "he hopes it gets fixed soon so he can get his life back" Can I shoot him now??????

it's a very sad situation all the way around. so many people died and didn't need to...on top of that the oil is killing so much wildlife, its unbelievable. i don't mean this to sound all green-peace and everything, but we truly are a disease on this planet. we can't live without destroying it. whats worse? the majority are still saying 'DRILL BABY DRILL' when you look at the polls....this is something beyond political lines. it's ethics. it's a matter of  destroying what isn't even ours to destroy....we don't have a right to have ever allowed anything like this to happen in the first place, and yet we do it again and again and never learn the lesson.

it's very sad. this is just one oil rig. imagine if it happens again? and again? i mean this wasn't even really an accident.....an accident is when you do everything right and something goes wrong. they did everything wrong and something went wrong.....i would say it's negligence instead.
