Sounds like you are doing really well.  Forgive me for forgetting, but how much oxy were you using a day?  After going c/t from oxy 80s last month (I don't even know how many a day) I REALLY respect what you are doing.  And I know what you mean about the work thing.  In the beginning you think there is no way you will feel like getting up and going to work, but by the time you do and you get there you actually feel better from being up and moving around.  That's how it is for me, anyway.  When I quit c/t I could never do that, but with tapering I could.  I worked all day today.  You said you are a lawyer - I used to work with many lawyers, wonder if you are my career neighbor... uh oh... lol

I went c/t from at least 2 80mg a day and upwards of 3-5 immediate release oxycodone 30mg (you know the pure stuff...no tylenol). Today I guess is Day 5 and I SWEAR there are very few physical symptoms..... I actually slept some last night.....and no real mental cravings.....Now my name's T. not Pollyanna (lol) so I know there are things to come that won't be pleasant....but my plan is each time to remember that control lies  either with the oxys or me.....and I won't live my life around a bottle....I appreciate every comment, every bit of help.....thanks for posting. It DOES help.......b/c who the ---- am I going to tell I'm going through this? Thanks again so much!
