So sad

I just found out that an old freind of 5 yrs ago when I lived in sc is now in jail. Now he had it all. A beautiful (who is my goddaughter) and twin boys. A good wife and owned his own skate clothing store. He had many cars, jet skis, condo along w/house, etc..anything they wanted. But nothing was just handed to him. He worked very hard for everything he had and wifey was stay at home mom who did whatever she wanted spent what she wanted so on. Him and his brother ran the store.It was very successful.. Well 2 yrs ago his wife started snorting coke as he did only on weekends I would go over and get there daughter and play with her take places so she did have see anything. Twins were babies and she was 4 almost 5. A very bright little girl. I never was into coke or any those kinds drugs. So i could stay in house and never bother me but usually took little one away from all that. I fussed at them all the time. We were all close and I could talk to them about it. They said it was no big deal well as months went by I could see that it was getting worse. Went from fri and sat to fri sat and sun...mon and so on,. I had M (little girl ) all the time and mom had twins a lot. Well he stopped going to his store and was letting his brother run it... All wife did was want more and more coke and they would stay up for days and pay no attention to little M or twins. I had M all time and she like my own daughter at this point. They lost one cars due to not making payment he was taking lots money out store that not making everything getting bad real bad.... Well I got job offer and had to move my heart was broke for M but I had to go. I so didn't want to leave that girl. I went to his brother and spoke to him and we staged an intervention for him. Well his brother said he would take business b/c he was not an every day part bus he had signed all over to brother so he could take care bus. Well after little fight we got him to go finally to a 28 day rehab and when wife found out that no more money was going to coke she to went to rehab. They both stayed 28 days and we clean all mess up from bills, house etc,. Well they got out and seemed good. so happy see kids and be family again. I moved but have remained in touch and see them once yr, Well I just found out on Oct 6 he went to jail and lost everything big time. He had keep a dark secert for long time. He was charged with manf/distribution crack 2nd off and profession lsd resale no bond and was sentenced to 8 yrs prison. Transported him today to prison his daughter will be 16 and twins will 12 so sad. He lost business and basically his life. He will be 40 when he is out. Wife has went back GA w/family w/kids. Drugs caused him to loose everything.....Make you think twice huh///
I have cried and cried...not so much for him or wife but for my goddaughter.

Thats a good question whitie and I don't know. Little M is beautiful and so very smart and full love and twins to sweet little ones they really need mom right just lost dad...so sad Being M goddaughter i take her as my own in sec...

some really good people too.

as for mom, what else can happen for her to not wake up?

Just talked to grandmother of kids and the other grandparents has kids now both little M and twins so very sad. Dad is jail and mom out doing the **** I would like to get a hold of her and slap her silly wow look what all was lost. Everyone do me a favor pls. Pray for little M and twins they have very hard now. I am going to try and get down to see them next week or so.  Thanks ~~H~~

Nothing at all to say - -  we have all seen it in one form or another.............but, WOW!   Those poor children.......and right now Dad is realizing that his days with a family are gone...

What a sad story.  The grief must be horrible for all concerned.
I suppose that's what you'd call 'hitting rock bottom'... so hopefully some good will come out of it. Although right now it'd be hard to see how...but it will come... Thinking of you x
