I got a cool 50...I took the "test" 2  times..(don't ask me why,lol) and Savas..you are right..the wording to alot of those questions seemed to me to just be to confuse the mind..lol and i didn't leave any with "no opinion'..

If you just answer the question after a quick read, you'll find you're answering in accordance with what they want. I'll bet you did the same thing I did, and just went along. If I hadn't been doing it with another person, I may not have caught on to what was going on, but we ended up arguing about half the questions to pick an answer and gradually realized what was going on.

The ironic thing is the line "Separation of Church and state" ISN'T in the constitution. The actual line is;

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...'

Which basically means no laws will be establishing a national religion, or laws made that will prohibit  folks to practice the religion of their choice.

However, I put "No opinion" because I KNEW they were trying to get me to say "No" and thus say I didn't approve of seperation of church and state.  :)

The phrase "seperation of church and state" comes from a letter Good ol' Thomas Jefferson (my hero!) wrote to the Danbury Baptists in 1801 or 1802 (can't recall)in which Jefferson discusses aspects of the free establishment cause in the first amendment..

I agree mary with your statement and would be leaving this country if that were to ever gets ammended to the oposite. I think people confuse it though meaning anyone in politics cannot have religious views and have the right to speak them. I wish people would think what it would be like if it were that way i.e. beheadings for adultry, cutting off arms for stealing and the like. Yikes what an insane way to live......

Yes, some of the questions you have to consider carefully if what they mean is the same as what you mean (question and answer). I actually went back halfway through when I realized what was going on. I'm curious as to what the purpose of it is. Is it some sort of poll?

-44 points/-26%...and I think the ones they "gave" me were not because I agreed for the same reason they did...so I'm sure my actual score is much lower..and some questions were not even opinion-based questions..they were statement of fact or fiction..and I'm not talking about the religious stuff..I'm talking about whether something says something or doesn't say something..whether or not it is agreed with....and I didn't need the test to know the answer to this one...but was curious as to what it would say.

Heh heh... we left A LOT of them as "no opinion" since the questions didn't make sense or were delibrately misleading. I'd be very curious to know what the purpose behind the test is, since it obviously isn't determining what a good christian is.

Some of them wer of the variety of the old McCarthy era questions like;

McCarthy "Do you STILL beat your wife? Answer yes or no ONLY!!!"

One of the questions that really gets me is about separation of church and state.  Too many people don't realize how very important this is to our country. Also one of the things that pisses me off about Bush.  If he had his way he would do away with it.
