I went to the dentist

I went to the dentist yesterday and had some work done on my pearly whites and ouch it hurts. The dentist did not know and I did not think to say but he wrote me for vicadins es. These will wet my taste for more and stronger so I can yhou believe this tore the script up. What the hell is happening. LOL I do not compute..... I did something responsible again regarding being the addict that I am. I am proud of Mike right now. I know it is small to others in the world but to me this is enormous gigantic big big real big. Get my point? LOL How are all of my buds here at the site of miracles?

after arecent surgery i turned down demerol for percocets. i was in alot of pain. i was proud and pist at the same time. i know for me it was a huge step. my hat's off to you!

That is awesome! Don't know I coulda done that, but i'm starting over, so to see that impresses the heck outta me. All you regulars that have been here all this time express yourselves in such a way, I'm feeling you and what you have to say. Hopefully it will wear off on me. I know what I have to do. I had all remaining top teeth pulled in January and now have dentures...I was offered percs, and I took 'em...I was in serious pain..following day i felt fine and tossed 'em.

Man, I have had a lot of root canals and huge fillings the works and I never had a dentist just write me script for anything???......I had to beg once cause it was sooo bad !  getting 15 vics was like pulling teeth......no pun intended...lol.

I am proud of you as well. I have been suffering my self with a mouth infection and wait 9 days before I could have the surgery. I finally had it this morning and I do know the ouch!! He had to cut out two teeth and one of the roots was into my nasal cavity so that is all stitched up. Ouch again...LOL

I am hoping that the clot forms over night and tomorrow I will have some relief.

"Small"???  Are you kidding me???  That is a HUGE, AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, REMARKABLE accomplishment.  I'm really, really proud of that Mike guy too.  Way to go!! Not to say the little things don't matter either.   It's hundreds of "little" decisions (like driving a different way home to avoid a slippery place) that that will keep you in recovery.  Big or small......awesome job!
