Mine was toorrttuurreeee!!! And i hadnt had a proper cycle in years But I think once u get through the first couple months .. The pain will ease up, as ur body is still adjusting to no pain meds... Our bodies need to re-learn how to handle pain again on its own. I used Advil quite a few times a day and that eventually helped a ton !!! Take a hot bath and try to relax a bit:) we know and feel ur pain :) good luck!!!
O hunny, I feel for ya! I hate to say this but not much of anything helps just yet. I had mine 2 weeks ago, first time in 4 years! Wheew glad that's over! Now that you're clean your body is just starting to get back to normal. At least that's what my dr said. Anyway, try two adoring and two midol. It helps some, not much but some. Hope u feel better hun, mothernature can be a real b%&#@ sometimes but it's normal.
Well wishes,
Momma
I have endometriosis which is excruciatingly painful, multiple surgeries, hormone therapy the whole shebang. Have you considered just NOT having a period? I don't have insurance right now and under my gyno's guidance we decided me just staying on a constant birth control is best so I don't have to deal with period pain. I totally understand what you are going through and yes you definitely need to invest in a heating pad. I also get those little adhesive heating pads when I have to be mobile. Midol, pamprin extra strength just to take the edge off the pain. Guard that clean time girl and don't let the pain best you.
