as i was once again being eaten alive this morning with mosquitos on the dog walk my brain came up with a great idea for an invention..... BUG ZAPPER EARRINGS!!!  LMAO Surely it can be done right?? I just have to figure out how to run extention cords that long, or make a super small battery that can still produce a large electrical charge....hmmm..any electricians out there that want to collaborate with me on this. My patent is still pending LOL

we live right on the lake and don't have mosquitos, don't know why but do have lots of birds. but I would be afraid I would fry my ears, hair...etc...Where my mom lives which is farther south is like that, can't get from the house to the car without a battle. I have no suggestions ,sorry....can still see me with your invention on with burnt ears and no hair walking my dog...lol

Michigan I told you i still have a few little "bugs" (pun intended) to work on this invention LOL

Vic- we have tons of birds around here including Martins and a pondful of frogs, tadpoles etc. We even have some of the freshly hatched tads in our veggie garden now that lost their tails and now are baby frogs, we have snakes too.  Its just that theres about 100 mosquitos per square inch of air around here. People think Im joking when I complain how bad it is here, but Im really not. You seriously cannot go out there without tons of them attacking y ou like a swarm of bees, and they get in the house too because when you run back in the house finally, theres always a bunch of them on your clothes and hair. Im seriously considering hanging a giant bug zapper in my living room here LOL

It sounds like you need to build some Martin houses for next spring. Our neighbor has then and we have very few flying insects. It is cool to watch them feeding in the evening too.
