Going to the specialist

Well, I got the results of my renal scan today and I got some good and bad news.  I now know the reason for my headaches and elevated blood pressure.  I have a kidney that is blocked and working at only 50%.  Due to the kidney being the biggest regulator of blood pressure, it is sending a signal that something is wrong, so my pressure shoots up.  Then when it gets too high, I have to take something to bring it down.  Which by the way, leaves me totally drained.

My "new" doctor explained to me that it is no wonder my body is in complete turmoil and I am having the migraines.  He also told me that this is something that can't be fixed with medication and would require surgery.  I asked if it could wait until Thanksgiving break and he said "NO" as soon as the specialist and recommends what I need to do......Do it.

Thanks for your prayers and concerns.
~Susan
