question on opana meds

I am new to this site.  I am here because tomorrow I am going to go cold turkey.  I have been on vicodin for over three years.  Just last November my doc. put me on OPANA.  I take or shall I say should take between 6-10 a day.  

My question is will my withdraws be more intense coming off of OPANA as opposed to vicodin???

How much stronger is Opana next to vicodin.  I was taking the 10mg of opana and the 10mgs of Vicodin.  Any information is appreciated.  I am going to do it this time.

oxycodone(oxy-conyin)20mg's
morphine(ms-contin)30mg's
each one of these meds are equal to each other.vicoden dosen't come close so yes the withdrawals will be worse.

I'm on Opana 5mg 2 of them 4 times a day and Opana ER 20mg 2 times a day. I was on Norco (vicodin) for a year before that. I really cant say i had withdrawals with the vicodin, being i am currently now going through withdrawals from the Opana and it is a million times worse! You should look up Opana withdrawals in a search form, that's what i ended up doing,  i was supposed to go to my doctor's tomorrow, but they need to reschedule so now i am here stuck going through all the symptoms you could think of. anyways good luck to you all.

Opana is stronger than vicodin..it is also a different combination of meds.

Your dose was not that high, relatively speaking, but like I said the drug is stronger.

You will feel the withdrawal about 5..or 6 days.
