Hi there

As I was coming home from work yesterday. My mind was going to how grateful I am that I am not taking the hydros anymore...Even though my body is shot and am fighting depression...I am still very grateful...Anyway I was thinking how my thoughts were so much on the next prescription, how many pills I have left and I should really quit...What a crazy mind set I was..Anyone struggling especially my age...We can and we will do this...Big Hugs

Love hearing about the gratitude Denise. That memory of what it was like is important for our recovery. The comparison of what it was like and what it's like now fills us with gratitude for our sobriety. Your physical problems and the depression will go away. It keeps getting better and better Denise. I'm age 67, and it took me quite a bit of time to recover also. But we DO recover, physically, mentally and spiritually.
