101 days and feeling better!

I am off methadone 125 days and off OxyContin and Valium 191 days and I can feel the light at the end of this tunnel. I am feeling so much better and I know there may be rough times ahead but I also know that I am making a full recovery. I have a new appreciation for life and am grateful. This disease has made me a better person. There were many times I really did not think I would make it but I trudged through everything that was in my way. I faked it till I made it. The negativie thoughts were the hardest to overcome. I am regaining my sanity and am even better than before. I feel alive again. Don't give up 5 minutes before the miracle happens.

Awesome sauce....I love to read these posts!!!!!  It truly is a miracle if people would just push themselves, like you've obviously done, to see that light at the end of the tunnel.  You should be very proud....keep pushing yourself forward.

WOW! Congratulations on 125 days!  That is so awesome and such an inspiration!!!!  It is so good to hear all that you said and it gives me hope!  Cause Im still at the fake it till I make it part!!!  You are doing so great!!!!
