Day 10 legs are on fire!!!! Is it all in my head?

10 Days for me I've had two really stressful days I've been here several times to help in my recovery but my legs are killing me.  I've tried allot of different things to help but it is constant pain throbbing in my calf muscles. Sometimes it moves to my thighs and my feet seem to be red with whites bloches.  I notice my muscles kind of throbbing, pulsating when I'm in the bath.  Then I have sharp pain sensations in both legs that last about 1 second then the pain level subsides to about a 7.  I have convinced myself that it's all in my head but I'm starting to think it's something else.  On top of all this I'm going through a divorce after 20 years of marriage and I miss my family so much.  This really *****. When my phone rings my heart beat sky rockets.  When it rains it pours I guess.  I still love my wife it's only been about 3 weeks but she has chose the pills over me and she does not believe she  has a problem.  I have not mentioned this part until tonight I never thought I would be living alone.  I'm ready for this to be over . This is the hardest thing I have ever done.  I hope tomorrow is a better day.  So I'm done rambling on, should I go to the doc???

A visit to the doc will put your mind at ease.  Sometimes we can think silly stuff under pressure.  This is probably a mind over matter issue, but best to be safe.

Good luck and keep posting.

I'm very sorry to read of your wife.. this must be so difficult. I also hope tomorrow is a better day.. I agree with the above posters You should see your Dr. the blotches are not normally tied in with restless leg.. this is more of a crawling feeling on the inside and a pain level of 7 is high.. Please make the appointment just to be on the safe side.. and again I'm very sorry you are going through a divorcee. and can only imagen how much you miss your family.. Getting clean is the best thing you can do for yourself and the circumstances.. It is good to have a clear mind to deal with all of this.. I wish you well.. lesa

I'm not a doctor, but if your feet are getting blotchy and everything else is tying in - then it might be within your best interest to go and see a doctor about this.
