Hi I just wanted to let you know that u are perfectly fine taking 1 7.5 a day. I took 6 5's a day throughout my whole pregnancy and my now 3 and 1/2 yr old daughter is perfect no problems and is above average in everything and I had one extra day stay in the hospital and a social worker did check in but since I was under Dr care everything was dismissed right away. So please dont worry taking one a day your baby will be just perfect. Take care and good luck to you and happy new yr!

Please set your worries aside.  7.5 mg/day will NOT hurt your baby.  If you OB is onboard,  and is aware that you are taking it....you will be fine and so will your baby.  Reducing that dose of one 7.5 a day could create unnecessary discomfort to your child.  If YOU are in any kind of distress or discomfort by this reduction....your unborn baby will be too.

Relax, keep your dose even, and know your bundle of joy will be just fine~

i only take 1- 7.5 mg a day for back pain. they were prescribed by my dr. but he seems to think its ok. he really just gets me in and out of the office. he acts like he has no time to talk. i have now started taking half that a day. i dont want my baby to have any withdraw problems.. it worries me that she will. but at the same time. ive only took small amounts. but i have took them for the whole time

Oops...just saw in your title that you're 30 weeks....sorry about that! Anyways, yeah...definitely get a dr on board with your situation.

I'm not sure what stage of the pregnancy you are in...but I know that going through withdrawal during any stage of the pregnancy can sometimes be even more traumatic to the baby than the drug itself.  I've had a pill problem for a long time...but both of my pregnancies were planned and I quit the pills a few months before I tried to conceive...so I don't have first hand experience with what you are currently dealing with. Your best bet would be to talk to your OB/GYN openly about your situation...even if it's a secret that you've been hiding.  It will be the best option for you...and the best option for your baby, to take a medically advised route.  Best of luck to you.

Anything after the 20th week will be in baby's system. But not necessarily meaning they'll be any withdrawals or anything like that. You need to have your OB involved. They know what's best course of action. Typically they don't want you to cold turkey quit while pregnant.
I'd want to know if you are getting it from a dr as well...

Hi, im guessing anything you take while pregnant will be in the babys system, even over the counter codeine isnt good for bubby.  But at least if your getting monitored by a doctor, and you are only taking what is prescribed then doctors know what will harm the baby the least.  Is the hydrocodone prescribed, or are you getting it through someone, im not familiar with that drug.
