Sounds like you aren't doing too badly. Others have a lot more complaints at 52 hours in. All of the others who posted pretty much covered all of the important stuff. One thing I might add is to eat as healthy as possible and don't let yourself get too hungry. I found that the WDs got worse if I got hungry. You are doing great! You don't have anymore pills do you?
72 hours is a milestone in this process. Things then slowly start to turn to the better. Your going to have some insomnia issues along with anxiousness for a couple more weeks before things really start to get noticibly better. People have been mentioning sleepytime tea as helping them, maybe pick up some melatonin in the vitamin dept along with some valerian root. They help make your body relax some..Depression is going to work on you some but look past it. Some of the days coming will be swing days. Energyless in the am, then better in the afternoon, then, might be the opposite the following day. Showers help. I would sometimes take two or three quick one's a day to get some of the cloud off my head. Mild exercise as well even if you don't feel like it...You've go a great start here. Keep moving forward. Still have some rough days ahead but next thing you know you will be 3 weeks down the road being so grateful with yourself you made the choice to follow thru...
It depends on your body chemistry. The physical can last anywhere from 2-5 days. Then the mental kicks in. Once you feel better I would recommend some type of aftercare, ie, therapy, support groups.
There are a lot of OTC remedies which will help. I also recommend staying extremely hydrated with Gatorade and or juice.
Your doing great!!!!
The worst physical stuff will be over by tomorrow. Then you will be drained and still have trouble sleeping.Do you have any mental symptoms or is it mostly physical?
