Have you ever taken Inositol, it is very much related to vitamin B, but is not considered a vitamin as it is not necessary for survival....
It has a ton of benefits, but for me and others it increases REM sleep. I have taken it for a long time on and off and most of the dreams are positive, allthough ofcourse you could have nightmares....
Anyway, congrats on 31 days. I am on 5. I am about to take a combonation Amino acid supplement that I had sitting around froma while back to see how it works...
LOL
:)
Thanks for the smile
Too bad my curious personality wants to eat Oxys instead of doing something useful (like inventing a cure for PMS). Forget WD's, my wife would kill me if she read that.
Hello, glad to meet you. I totally agree with your comment:
"it's our curious personalities that make us our own worst enemies sometimes"
That is so true.
:)
I can tell from your posts that you are a lot like me. I also read tons of information on natural nutrition, etc. It all came from my younger days as a Golfer (as a Fresh in college I was a 2 handicap). I worked out a lot and it was actually a golf swing that herniated two discs and started me on this cycle (I made a practice swing with a 4 iron and didn't warm up properly first). I doubled over and crawled to my car from the practice range while leaving all my clubs where they were (which was well over 1000 dollars of custom clubs). I called from home to have my pro go pick them up. What all this comes down to is the fact that I think I've always have an addictive streak in me. I always tried the latest greatest supplement first. I've always tried other people's meds just to see how they felt. The problem is that some of these supplements can be as harmful as prescription meds (I actually remember buying GHB when it was marketed as a sleep aid from a health food store). In the end, it's our curious personalities that make us our own worst enemies sometimes. I'm glad you implore people to read up on things. Nothing is better than educating ourselves on what we place in our bodies. I will now stop ranting...
OMG, the book! I totally forgot I ordered that and some others! I must take them out of the box and read them! Thanks for reminding me!
I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTg girl.
:)
ALso, to the rest of you and I look forward to getting to know you all!
That book has saved my life.... get on the aminos... You will benefit alot from this.. I can help set you up..XOXO
I'm on day 20, and I often look to your posts to see what I have to look forward to in the coming weeks. I too have been having weird dreams lately. I don't think I dreamed at all while on the Oxy. Either I didn't dream, or I was so out of it I didn't remember. Congrats on your continuing recovery!!
I think we did dream... we just were too out of it to remember them.. When I was doing all the research on the vitamins and aminos.. It had said that a deficiency in B3 can cause you to not remember your dreams.. It has actually said to increase B3 til you could have dream recall... interesting stuff huh??
Since you said you look to my posts.. I will say that I do have times of anxiety.. I do get weird strange hot flashes sometimes still...these moments get few and far between as the days go on...
And I do still have pain issues.. I am getting into as much treatment for it as I can..chiro, massage, I even made a acupunture appt for tommorrow night.. I have a metal allergy so she said she can use needles made of silicone.. I have an actual structural issue with my neck and back so hopefully I can get some relief with out getting into surgery and stuff... I am too young I think..
Steph, you know that I think that you have done an amazing job. You have been such a huge support and a great friend to me. I wish you all the best as you journey through your recovery and through life. I will be here for you always.
Love, M
i just have to say it again, steph, you are an inspiration, and so very good to every one here......keep on, so we can too!
