I justwanted to thank every one for sharing, i have been reading for awhile here, had my ups and downs and it really helps to read. I have no support with my dirty secret, i would lose everything. I desperitly want to quit this dirty secret.
I was scared to post, I think it might help if i share to.

Welcome to the forum!! Many people do not want to talk about their dirty secret to family and friends etc, myself included, but the people here are in the same position and they helped me get through so much. The support is amazing, the people here are true angels. We all know what each other is going through in one way or another and it helps knowing that people can relate and offer the support you need for different emotions we go through.
I think you should stick around and post some more. This will be a beginning of a new better life when you decide to get off you doc. I wish you all the strength in the world to do this! Take care and stick around.

I understand the fear of talking about your dirty little secret, but you will find the most kind gentle people ever on this site and because we all have the same little dirty secret we don't go out and talk about people on this forum! Just relax and put a little faith in us I promise you won't be sorry.
Talking about what you're going through is the first step to getting clean. We work as a family unit here and will support you as much as you need.
I hope to see more of your posts as you go down this road to getting clean and turning your whole life around.

Welcome. As the previous post says most of us have been there done that and come away with a hat, mug and a lot of scars. But this is the place to be and it can only control you if you keep it secret and here it stays.

It helps so much to share and there is no reason to be scared,noone is here to judge only to help and support. There are no dirty secrets here,trust me know matter what you've gone through because of your addiction you will find one if not many of us who have been there done that.Keep posting. Peace.

I find sharing helps me take away the power of what is bothering me.It doesn't seem so big as it was when I get it out in the open . This is why I love this site it helps for me too to read others peoples thoughts. Reaching out I find is one of the hardest things for me to do. I do it at Na and I can't believe the support I get from other addicts. Take Care and keep sharing it really does help. My sponcer once told me that it is only our secrets that keep us sick and after relapsing I now do believ3e him. (Oh ya I am also a slow learner)  lol. I am one of those people that think the think beteewn my ears is intelligent and not the suggestions then from say, somebody with 10 yrs of sobriety!!!!!Most important that I always have to remember is my recovery is only one day at a time and that really helps me.
