the day i lit fire to my feet

since Ive been sneaking smokes again, it reminded me of some of the other times in the past when i used to do that too, thought Id share one of those more memorable moments...this was many years ago and I was supposed to have already quit cigs months earlier.. I drove up to the carry out down the road and was puffing away in the car...all of a sudden here comes my husband on his dirtbike up the side of the road and pulls right next to the car, pacing himself right with me! I panicked so bad and threw the cig down on the floor, and was trying to stomp it out. Well, at the time, I was a real slob and my car was pretty messy- fast food bags and wrappers were in there. It ended up igniting the mcdonalds bag on the floor. So there I was driving down the road, flames licking around my ankles as I frantically tried to stomp the fire out at my feet- all the while smiling and waving at my husband next to me, hoping he wouldnt notice LMAO! Finally he goosed the throttle and zipped up the road and disappeared into the woods again and i was able to pull the car over and put the fire out before it burnt me up and torched the car, lol.  

Does this give you an idea how bad my smoking addiction is?? and how long its been that way?? Man, i just dont know what to do about it. I know the simple solution is JUST STOP SMOKING but most of you smokers know how hard it is to do so. So far, its definitely much harder than when i quit the vicodin.  Maybe i will try to get some of that nicotin gum....... it was 42 bucks for a small box which is why i dismissed it when i saw it...but im re-thinking that now..

LOL...good story.....the only way i was able to quit smoking was to get pregnant!!! haha

glad i could give you a good laugh today cathy. Ive had so many weird things like that happen to me in my life...its like my life has been one big horrible sitcom LOL

no, just the percs. ive taken melatonin for a week now too and it helps so much with sleep. i usually take well over an hour to fall asleep, but with the melatonin, 15 minutes. im still sore, but i find the mornings bad right now, im so stiff, but i heal quick, i hope. just glad this happened now, instead of when golf season opens and full time work starts. you would be pleased to know im only having 5 or 6 smokes a day since i got hurt, not too bad, i wish i had the balls to just toss the pack out. i will soon.

ROTF. omg trouble, please don't make me laugh it's very painful now. that was hilarious, i can just picture you now, damn im still laughing.

so everytime you have a craving for a smoke eat a reese. ive tapered my reese intake down to only 3 a day, but still having minor w/d's, lol. thanks for the morning laugh, now i need my heating pad.
