Hi orchard..sorry about the predicament you're in. The last time I was here (2 months ago) I seem to recall a post by your screen name about a Dr finding out you were getting multiple prescriptions..please tell me if I have the facts wrong. Best I remember your last post stated you were on 10mg valium daily and cutting down. I DO remember your screen name. Anyways, you need medical attention and no professional will deny it to you. I can't imagine why your MD cut you off abruptly unless you did something that he found out about. NOT accusing here..just fact gathering. I hope you get the medical help you need.
If you have been hiding your xanax. Forget about it. What is most important right NOW is your safety. Please respond do not feel bad about other posts you may have written. If they understood the decease of addiction they would have asked about that issue at another time. Personally I don't know how someone could lay that on you know, true or not! Whats important today is getting you help. Remember whats in the dark will always come to the light. Why because your sick and need immediate medical attention. Your doctor has already said no more xanax so its not like your going to just try and get through it until your next refill. GET YOUR **s to the ER. Or the very least call your Dr someone must be covering for him. If you get him ask him for at least Librium 25mg it will prevent any seizures------ GET UP AND PICK UP THE PHONE NOW!!!!!-----------------------NOAH
everyone is right you have to go to ER you have to taper off benzos PLZ let us know how you are doing.

What your doctor has done to you borders malpractice. He first gets you physically dependant on xanax. Then cuts you off c/t. Didn't you say to him or ask him is this safe. I would prefer a taper. Or please switch me to Valium which has a much longer half life. A different way to cope he should have said that to you before he bumped you up to the 2mg xanax. So right now you are having involuntary movements and twitching. Are your lips trembling yet? Are you able to hold a full glass of water and walk across the room without spilling it. The fact you cannot sleep is typical when benzos are stopped abruptly as in your case. Does he have an answering service. Is he on duty this weekend. If not maybe the doctor covering for him will authorize a small amount of the 1mg don't mention the 2mgs. if that doesn't I would call the pharmacy and tell them you are requesting and emergency supply until you can see your doctor on Monday. Give the pharmacist your symptoms. Do you pay cash or does ins pay?. because you are early and the pharmacy is going to tell you so. Be very careful standing up? You could have a seizure at any time. If you try and shower today and go to shampoo your hair the movements of your hands so quickly could make you feel as though you are going to have a shower. I'm not kidding I went through this 8yrs ago. I finally had to go inpatient for 3weeks to get my benzo levels down. I was treated with phenobarbital good stuff very comfortable detox. Back to you. You need to get pissed and call your doctor's service and tell them you are having petite mal seizures and plead for their help if they say no can't help. Go to the hospital where this DR. has admitting rights and present yourself there for emergency care for xanax withdrawal. BE sure and give them the doctor's name who created the monster. But don't go if you have any warrants or have been Dr shopping for the same drug. If you don't act know your only going to get worse. It takes months to get benzos out of your system---DO IT!----------------------Noah
hey, u just told me you werent taking anything but sub. in my post. whats up?
Hi Hun!
I have never taken xanax, but many here have. I have read posts on here though and from what I understand, it is not a med that should be stopped immediately. Your doc should have known that.
I suggest that you go to the ER. If you feel like you are having genuine seizures, then just go. Aren't you close to CMC?
Please let us know how you are doing.
