Liver

Last week I read a post on a herb that would help regenerate the liver. Does anyone know what that might be or something that does help the liver?

I've read that milk thistle DOES bring your liver enzymes down, but in the long run, it cannot repair a liver whose cells have become scarred (cirrhosis.)

It is the largest organ in our bodies (well 2nd largest...our skin is considered an organ, believe it or not.)  The liver can take a lot of abuse and will heal itself, but there IS a point of no return.    I always stayed away from Vicodin because of all the acetaminophen in it (Tylenol).

I called our local real food store and they asked if it was in liquid form and I said I guess. They do have that, is that right is it in liquid form? Thanks for the help. I have beatin myself  with hydrocodone for the past 2 1/2 years that I hope I can help my liver now that I am tapering off these damn things.

Hmm -- dunno. I have never looked, I've always bought it from Vitamin stores - like GNC, Vitamin Shoppe - etc...
