I am on roxicontin. I need to quit however have to do it without Family knowing. I can do it cold turkey, as I have before. Any ideas how I can pull this off?

I have done it before but it was by flying away.

I need to do it but without flying.

I could use my money I have for my next bottle of stuff to just get a hotel for 5-7 days until the worst of it is over.


However I never have gone on a trip by myself, and thats the problem. They wouldn't think im going to where-ever in a hotel for 5 days for anything but to party or something wierd because ive never done something like that.


So I need some ideas. If I'm away for 5 days I would be off them, the staying off will be the next step but just getting off would be good and then I can work from there.

Thanks alot. I said this last time I went on vacation and only brought like 60 pills, enough for 1/4th of the trip.  It worked then, but I was asked once "you weren't on anything were you?" just because they love me and were worried. I got away with it just fine however, when I came back to my same situation I went right back to doing it.

Anyways now I am ready to stop cold turkey is fine, I will probably use xanax to sleep and so I'm not in 100% torture pain (xanax is never a drug I liked, only thing it has been good for is wd's)

I guess ill just have the "flu" at home, stock up on xanax and try to get over it as fast as possible.

I'm on day 4 of ct for Vicodin and everyone in my life thinks I have the flu and no one has been the wiser. Do you think you could say that?  I don't know what pill you take and how long you have been taking them, so I really don't know if the flu is a plausible excuse for you.  I'm a newbie, so I don't really have much information to share. I am sure more people will be on the forums later today and they will have some suggestions for you.
