WD help

Hi all, just wanted to post some info I have been learning about getting over WD symptoms for suboxone, but can apply to othe opiates as well.
If you don't already know about it the Thomas recipe looks pretty good.
Taking potassium, magnesium, other high dose vitamin supplements can help alleviate some of the muscle, bones aches associated with WD.
Also, taking animo acids helps the brain to function and repair itself.
Any type of benzo can help with sleep, although I have tried taking Valium, clonidine, hell even muscle relaxers and they don't do much for me.
Starting this week I am going to start my suboxone detox, gonna try a tramadol dose see if that can help at all, the biggest thing for me is not getting sleep.  So after talking with my dr maybe Xanax can help with that.
Obviously, hot baths are a life saver for the aches and rls.  I think the heat and weightlessness of being in water helps immensely.  Exercise is key as well, drink fluids till you want to puke and run when u really don't want too:)

Any other tips would be appreciated

Yeah, I've been sober from my doc except suboxone for 4 years.  Still attend meetings and have a support network.  Just want to get off the sub badly.  Honestly I've been to rehab soooo many times that I can't learn anything new.  It's just a matter of doing the right things and avoiding the situation that can lead back too a relapse
