I delivered Hailey Beth via cesrean on June 1st, 2012 at 8:25am. Not only did they say she showed no signs of withdrawals, she is a perfectly healthy, happy baby.

I've never really understood love until the moment I saw her. I know how dramatic that sounds, but it really is true.

Thanks once again to those of you who helped me make the best decisions for my daughters well being and giving me a safe place to come and talk these things out. I have discussed a plan with my doctors for the future to get my pain managed in a safer way and it looks like things will be majorly looking up. All I care about right now is being the best mom I can be to my daughter. And with how precious she is, I don't see that being a problem!

I know I am only going to become stronger from here. One look at my daughter and I know I don't need anything like that ever again. At least not for those reasons. I have found every joy and happiness in her eyes. I can't thank all of you enough for your prayers and support. And I'm so glad I stumbled across this forum in the middle of the night when I did. I'm so glad Sonrissa encouraged me to stick around and have faith that the people here would be non-judgmental and helpful in so many ways. I am already beginning to find myself in new ways. Being a mother is a huge responsibility. I'm so happy I get to start off on the right foot.

I am eternally grateful.

You probably had no idea how many people read your post and were praying for you and your baby...I am so happy that everything worked out well! Congratulations and enjoy your baby girl!! You are just beginning a love affair that you never would have believed was possible!!

I just love baby smellls. So fresh and innocent. And I am relieved to hear she's not withdrawling. You can always come here and talk.

Bravo!  A new life to be nurtured and loved.  Now that is a challenge. The greatest there is.  Look into her eyes and know all she sees is her mommy's eyes looking back.  She depends on you 100% for her care.  Sounds like you will give her 110%.  Stay strong and fill your days with the joyful gift you've been given.
