The pills really can add depression.  I thought they were helping, but after a while realized that they were hurting alot.

Please go talk to someone or seek help.  I have learned through this process that the strongest people are the ones that ask for help.

Hang in ther

Glad you are going to see about getting help.  Depression can be brutal and often narcotics can cause depression.  I found I was popping them trying to get the sadness to go away and not realizing that the pills were causing it.
Keep us updated.

Well, the reason we thought you might harm yourself is from the statement, "I'm feeling suicidal!" That is scaring me!  You don't want to take narcotics, even in low doses, when you feel that way.  OR if you're on meds for anxiety or depression, they can react badly with Lortab.  Your other post said that you wanted to know how many Lortab would make you die.  Honestly, I think that you need to get some help tonight.  Anyone who reaches out for help on here and makes those statements is obviously troubled.  Maybe it would be a good idea to go to the ER?  Don't you think?  Maybe they could give you something non narcotic for pain and get you hooked up with someone for therapy or admit you to the hospital for observation.  Talking about suicide isn't a good sign when you say that you're learning to cope with your problems.  Suicide is the definition of not being able to cope anymore.  I can't speak from experience, personally, but I have known friends who have been suicidal, and they were able to get help in time and now live normal happy lives!!!  You can be that way too, but you should get yourself some help tonight.  Do you have a friend you could call right now?  Family member?  ANYONE who could take you to the hospital?  We can keep talking to you, but we are just a computer screen!  Is there someone you'd be willing to call?

Hey how are you feeling now, I am hoping that the suicide statement was just words because you are having a bad day. If they weren't PLEASE PLEASE go talk to someone. I know that things can seem like they are crashing in around you when you are trying to get off opiates and have back pain. I have lived with chronic back pain for over ten years now. I was on very high doses of oxycotin for eight years due to this pain. About 954 days ago I decided to get off of the oxys and found my life again. You CAN do the same. You have come to the right place to do it and if you want to get clean we are all here to help you.

I too felt like it was hopeless too but with help from all of the great people here and family I was able to go C/T and get my life back. You stated "just wondering how many is too many to take so I won't take too much " well I am here to tell you one is to many and 1000 is not enough. So please come back and post so we can give you the best advise we can. All of us here have been in the same place you are now and through the grace of God and some great advise have made it down the road to sobriety. So please come join us on that journey you will be glad you made the choice to get your life back.

Again, I have lived with severe back pain so I know what you are going through so if you need to talk, rant, b!+ch or whatever you can message me and I can try to help you as much as I can. I will pray for you God Bless---Rick

How many Lortabs have you been taking and for how long?  Please call someone you can talk to . . . . a friend or family member, maybe a help hotline if you have no one else right now.  If you are having  these kinds of thoughts you need to talk to someone or even go into an ER as soon as possible.  IT IS JUST THE PILLS TALKING - DONT LISTEN!!!  You need to get some support right away.  I personally have battled pills (at high volumes), for 15 years and am right now 50 days clean!  There was a time I felt just like you do now; pain does very scary things.  Can you talk to your doctor about alternate meds and/or changing doses, etc.?  In any case - PLEASE don't take more than your recommended dose for now and get ahold of someone to talk to about how you are feeling.  Keep posting here; there are a lot of people that can help you through this with support and information.

If you are feeling suicidal, please stop what you're doing right NOW, and call 911.  Do not take any controlled substance as it can take away your inhibitions.  Please call 911 or a suicide hotline.
