Hi Needguidance,i havnt checked in a while , the anxiety side really suxs tapering i am down to 15mg now from 20mg plato'd out last 2 months, i was having valiums with it too for few months now im stopping that was making matter's worse, i find it hard to relax and i get so worked up at times i feel im going to have aheart attack hang in there B
I like Natural calm with calcium. It is in a powder form of magnesium and dissolves in water.
Anxiety is not a pleasant thing to be sitting with day after day. If it is not decreasing it may be due to something else on a biochemical level that is out of balance. Putting your attention on the anxiety symptoms will also magnify them in your mind/emotional system and make a bad situation worse. Easier said than done I know, but the post on exercise was a good bit of advice, just move and do something physical or something that is absorbing and takes your mind off it whenever you can.
You could try liquid magnesium, it can help relieve anxiety symptoms if you are deficient - liquid is better than tablets for absorbtion - usually can get it from chemist or health food shops. A lot of minerals can get depleted during use. Calcium and magnesium work in synerqy to help the nervous system, so make sure you drink milk as well to help the magnesium absorb - not together though as it would make the milk curdle! The liquid magnesium is better in a small bit of juice, then have another bit of juice near by to drink after it as it is a bit chloride like, so doesn't leave an overly pleasant taste in your mouth. Have you been to anyone to check for deficiencies?

day 14 for me is a turning point which I see a major change in mental awareness less depression and some motivation to actually do anything......... Hang in there.................
I agree. I think everyone is different but I think that of all the things that help w/d (and there are lots of good ones on here) Exercise is the most important for improving the anxiety and depression parts.

Everyone is different it will decrease as time goes by, I would say maybe a little longer than 2 weeks but that depends on how much and how long you abused.
