I can't take it

I am beyond frustrated. I was clean for 3 weeks, just starting to feel better, then used for 3 days in a row. I'm over the fact that I did them, I'm just so frustrated how I feel so weak and I am so tired. I can't sleep at all. I know literally every natural remedy, so that won't help.I'm so mad that I can't sleep all I want to do is fall asleep. I don't understand why my sleeping patterns would be messed up again, it was only a few days. I'm so sick and tired of everything...

HI  well if you slip up it throws everything back so your going to have to deal with the sleep thing for a wile again....your lucky to have been sleeping after only 3 weeks sleep can take a wile to get back to normal....I would highly recommend aftercare to you....you need to address why you used again ...many people feel there fine and cured after detox nothing could be farther from the truth...you need to learn how to retrain the brain how to think once again and get down to the root of why we use in the first place both N/A and A/A offer free programs and most major health ins will cover out pacent substance abuse consoling you need to plug in somewhere or your going to be loosing a lot more then sleep over your addiction...with treatment you can learn how to live a clean and sober lifestyle please think about what im telling you here good luck and God bless.....Gnarly

Well.....You sound a lot like me.  I cut out all of my other monthly sources including my doctor except for one.  He would give me 25 Norco's once a month.  I would detox off of everything for three weeks to a month and start to feel better when I would hook up with them and chomp them down over the next 3-4 days.  I am here to tell you that what you are feeling right now is in my opinion payback for relapsing.  Each time you do this to yourself the detox affects get worse.  I am sure you have heard this a thousand times but it truly does get worse each and every time.  Feeling better again will be faster after the relaspe if you stop again but for me I kept on hitting a brick wall because of this.  I finally woke up one day and said.....I am sick and tired of being sick and tired!  I knew that I didn't want a daily habbit again and beind sick for three weeks at a time each month was getting really old so here I am trying once again to make it.....This time is different because I actually am prepared and committed but you can do it man.....Everyone here tells me you have to make it past the 90 day mark to see how you are really going to feel sober.  Also, they tell me that if you lay around the couch and eat pizza pockets all day you are not going to feel a whole lot better in 90 days.  If you mildly exercise and work your way up to working out on a regular basis and eat well you will feel tons better in that same period of time.  It is like everything else in life.....you get what you put into it!  Good luck man.....God Bless!

Are u taking the pills for pain or pleasure? There is no such thing as natural remedies won't help since you tried them all. Natural remedies work kind of like placebo works with so many drugs. You have to want them to work. You also need to meditate. For me, my pain is so bad that I have a hard time meditating so I do it with music. If I am well enough, then I kayak.

You can do it. It is not your fault. But you have to be determined to replace the pills with something else, like music, kayaking, etc. Good luck.
