I think that is a complicated question. So much depends on what you took, what you took with it, and for how long. And what kind of mental state you typically are in. WD is pretty clear and gives us something concrete to deal with. When the physical symptoms are pretty much over (mine lasted 3 weeks) you are left with yourself and all the ways the drugs functioned in your life and your life situation. So it is hard to know what the depression and or anxiety are all about. Probably a real mix of life as it is lived now, and leftover wd aftermath.
i was taking oxycodone 5/325 for the last 3 months because of back surgery but before that i was taking hydrocodone 10/325 for about a year but about i was finally off of the hydrocodone for about two weeks and then i found out that i had to have back surgery to fix the problem so now i was back on the oxycodone 5/325 and i havent taken any in 3 days with this being the 4th so its been 3 and a half days since i have had anything
it all depends on what kind of opiate you are taking as to how long your detox will last.. if you are taking controlled release it seems to take a lil longer.. if instant release physical is done quicker.. i was on a controlled release and the physical wd's lasted about 2 weeks.. then sleeplessness and no energy set in for a while.. i started walking at least a mile a day and my body was able to pull my mind out of the mire cuz my body was getting stronger so my mind kinda followed! hope you found some help in this answer and I hope where ever your at in your journey you get clean and free from the bondage of the meds...
