Hey Tooter,
I just want to add my 2 cents here. Everytime I have been in wds. I have been very shaky and weak. I understand you are taking pain meds right now? Last March, I c/t off about 60mgs of Norco and had and always have horrible wds. I think it was June I had to go back on the Norco, but am only on 30mgs a day and still feel really kind of shaky and a bit foggy headed figure that one out!!!  Im praying for a day when I can get off of them, oh that would blessing wouldn't it?  They make my depression worse im afraid also. Just wanted you to know that shaking and weak feeling can be your body trying to withdraw.  I hope I added something to help out. I pray for everyone who can be opiate free.
God Bless

Oh thanks Vickie, most of my weight came from cortozone (sp) shots. My neck is finely getting back to normal size. I'm on a cottage cheese and pineapple phase. I eat it 3 or 4 times a day. I've cut my dr.peppers down to 2 aday. I have never eat right in my life. Sometimes I think I was born to just destroy myself.

Oh yes, weight is a Big thing for us. I gained a few during my detox because I was to sick to eat right. Now I have lost over 17lbs and not much more to go. I have been eating very healthy again and I know what to eat and not to eat. I keep myself at very small meals (combination of the right foods together) and eat every 3-4hours. It is just like thinking or taking pills. I eat and I want more. I know I can not have any more, so I get up and re-direct myself and next thing I know I am fine. It is one of the biggest positive things I got going now and I am kind of Addicted to the feeling of feeling so good about it. AND I like to just throw on something and look OK in it. Makes a Big Difference in our own Mind. This does cause depression when You feel bad about yourself. I am trying to work harder at getting out too. This will bring me down and I know the Snow is coming too.

I got some good diet tips if you want to PM me.

Try your best to stay away from frozen or canned processed foods. Learn how to read labels. The best is to make every thing yourself..Too much sugars and carbs, sodium and bad things are out here in our foods these days. In other countries they have banned many of these foods we eat. Lots of fast food chains add a chem called AzodicarBonamide in their breads. This is a chem they make plastic with. Sugar Free sodas do nothing but put a big belly on..These are so harmful too (sugar sub). Some corn products can be bad too. OH! There is so much, so we can not avoid it all.

I wish you the best..YOU can do it!!!

Yeah, I could be. I'm bored as well. and I've gained so much weight!!! I don't even want to get dressed. I don't even look like myself, double chins and all. I look like I'm 6 months along so it's hard to wear anything that looks good. I'm down to Big shirts and jeans or leggings. I stay in my robe unless I go out all day. Hubby keeps talking about the over weight people on TV and how bad they look, so I know how he must feel about me. I'm about past caring what he thinks but I hate looking like this. I know this all sounds so shallow but it does bother me.

Oh..That Depression!!

I totally can understand that one. Pain can cause this and so can many other reasons. Maybe it is the pills too. I know many who do not get that energy from them, but they knock them out. I guess this is what they are suppose to do..kill the pain and relax one.

I get Depressed sometimes on nothing. Age is creepy by fast and I experience some all around aches and pains that I had not ever before. I miss working as a nurse and keeping busy. Doing thing around the house, inside and out is one thing, but working really kept my mind off of things.
I am looking for some kind of part time thing, but it has to be low hours do to my Heart and my Energy level. AND also some jobs will cause many Triggers for me. That is what is messed up to me is my Energy is not ever going to be the same. I do work out and eat very healthy, but I also get board which will bring on depression too. Most of my Friends use or drink, so I have no one to hang with but at those meetings or church.
Just telling you this, because it might not be the pills. However, we know what these pills do to those Happy Chems-Hormones or such. They do knock down the serotonin & endorphin, etc... You are at such a low dose that I do not think it would affect it that bad???
Could you be depressed for other reasons?? You know what I mean?

Thanks Vickie, every thing I try in pain pills make me depressed. I could understand wanting to take them if they made me high but they don't after a while. I remember when 3 Excedrin and a  coke gave me so much energy and I could clean my house in an hour. and be happy, happy, happy. I just want to be clear headed and normal. I'm not taking enough to alter my thinking. I just get depressed when it's time for more.

Hi. I sure do miss you out here.

I think the same way sometimes. I am going to be 60. I could NOT take another w/ds and mostly now because of my Heart Issue. I too, think about what will happen in the future if my pain is so bad that I can not live my life. I keep Praying they will come up with something more natural and less mind-altering to help kill the pain. I have ran across a few natural things, but have not had to try them yet! Prayers for a better future Lady.

Bless

Thanks guys, no I don't have diarrhea. But as soon as I take the pill about 30 mins. I feel better. I'm just terrified of getting hooked again!!! At 73 I don't think my body could go through it again. And on the other hand at my age why should I suffer like I do without the pills. I just want to say to all who are trying to quit, to hang in there. Life is so much more beautiful and PURE without the drugs. Each day is like a new born baby, treat it with love and respect and it can be your friend and lover. What ever you put into today will give back to you tomorrow. There is no place for trash!!  God bless you all. Will be praying for you all as I pray for myself

Tooter did you check your blood sugar? Maybe it was low this morning and then you ate. I don't think weak and shaky is a withdrawal symptom. It would start as an icky achy feeling with diarrhea.

Yea I would agree that its probably W/D.   2 months is long enough to get physically addicted again.   I would look to get off now before the usage goes up and way worse W/D comes.

I would say yes. If you are taking 2 or 3 a day for two months, that physical dependency is creeping back up on you. I have heard that a person who took opiates long-term never goes back to ground zero as far as tolerance and dependency goes, no matter how long you go without a drug. Sure, it goes down a lot (which also pits relapsers in danger) but it creeps back up more quickly than it would for say my mother who has never taken a pain med in her life.
