Is it abuse?

i wanted to ask, well really just to confirm what i think i already know. I use to use speed when i was 19 and stopped about 21. i'm now 29. but i was wondering is it abuse when you miss use laxatives, valium and modgen (ADHD) med. i take all somedays and mod everyday. this has not been precribed for me. bought it off internet site, to help with triedness and generally feeling like poo, and to stop the self harm that happens when i feel like poo. i have suidical thoughts sometimes too. yes i know screwed up and want to get help, have councillor just want to know before telling her how bad it really is.
Any comment welcome aslong as their are helpful and not nasty.

I tried some adderall and wine once and it was great. I can see how you would get hooked. How do you misuse laxatives? Just curious, haven't heard that one before.
It sounds like you need to talk to a top notch therapist- your suicide would crush the people in the world that truly love you.

hun, you really need to tell your councelor how bad it really is.. it's the only way to truly get help.

they can't really help you with only half of the picture..

please go next time and be brutally honest.  aren't you tired?  there IS help out there for you...you just need to ask for it.  that's all.

I totally agree with IBKleen. Self-medicating is a dangerous game! Go to your Dr and let them know how you are feeling, self harm too. There are things that can help. so don't be discouraged. Counseling can help too.

People don't get nasty here hun. The fact that you bought it off the internet says that you are self-medicating, and that is very dangerous. You are also taking the meds for other than what they are intended, so that is a problem also.

You need to be under a doctor's care and the counseling is a wonderful idea. lease get honest with the counselor.
