L-tyrosene is AMAZING!

I don't know who has used this during withdrawls or for energy, but I ordered mine last week..and its been incredible..Soo much focus and energy..my metabolism has changed..Im running and I have more endurance..This is unbelievable because its creating dopamine on its own and supports your thyroid wich boosts your metabolism. I only take i capsule because 2 would be too much..it says 1-2. I know 1 is enough for me..Its meant for anxiety ,depression ADHD and many use it when coming off substance to help with energy loss. The part wich is amazing is I cleaned my kitchen  3 hours last night..pulled out every drawer, cleaned them out , cleaned the fridge...ect..i didn't even do that when i was using..its not a high its just energy and focus..I  recommend this to you all who need a natural way to get better! Check some reviews on google too..Today is day 11 and im still moving forward!

Yes I started taking this about 3 days ago and I don't feel as depressed as I have in the past when goin through withdrawals. It's really working out I also read that you should take 500-1000 mg twice daily so this am I took 1000 mgs i do feel a huge difference. Usually when going through withdrawal the lack of energy is so depressing but although I don't have much energy I still get up to do things that usually I wouldn't bother. If anyone is considering buying his I highly recommend it.

Heads up, this is a great remedy, but it is contraindicated for anyone currently taking antidepressants especially SSRIs like lexapro. Read the label before using. Good luck and feel better!

After trying l-tyrosine this is he first time since being a child I understand why people enjoy life and social interactions. I can become manic and find this slows me down. No excess energy for me which is great. I've read many reviews, some say it slows them some say makes them manic. I started taking it because I use marijuana to self medicate anxiety/depression/mania and decided I have to stop (weed is interfering w my life) but I found withdrawals unbearable, I get cranky don't sleep for days (well 1-3 hours a night) sweats, cravings. This time when I stopped I had NO withdrawals due to the l-tyrosine. After trying to stop about 10 times this is amazing to me.  Only thing is I notice a mild headache with 1000-1500 mg (as recommended on bottle) While headache is worth getting my life back I'm going to try taking less to see if they subside and if not talk to my doctor about something else. I have researched L-Theanine and wonder how that will affect me.

I finally think tyrosine is working for me now. Ive had energy all weekend packing boxes for when we move and cleaning etc.
I feel great, not always every minute but cant complain.
I started taking red krill oil with calamari again but at the same time as my tyrosine and efexor and the results are very good.
So thats 2 weekends in a row with energy for me and at 95 days clean, it could not have happened at a better time.
I did speak to my aunt last night whos a doctor and she told me to stay away from 5HTP. Glad i listened to her, she did say tyrosine was a good combination with my efexor. So happy for my energy slowly returning.

Hi, just want to check in here on this post.  I have been taking Ltyrosine for about 10 days now.  First thing in the morning with my tea, 1000mg, on an empty stomach.  I find my energy increasing about 2 hours later...
I am also on thyroid medicine and antidepressant Celexa.  Pharmacist said I should be ok with just taking 1000 mg a day.  No side effects....I am pleased with this discovery.  My poor little body needs nutrients....so does my brain!!!

Hi weaver71,
Quick question about L-Tyrosine for anxiety sufferers...
I think that I read in another of your posts that you suffer from generalized anxiety, as well, and I'm wondering if L-Tyrosine is a good fit for people like us.  I am already WAY too wound-up anxiety-wise, and that has been my worst symptom (though was also very exhausted for the first week after my last taper) in a very bad way.  Do you have any suggestions?  Just feeling pretty nervous about my CT on  Friday.
Thanks:)

I only took it once in the morning (500mg) so it was worn off by night time. But I've been so tired I never have problems sleeping at night. But I actually dosed off for about a 1/2 hour today during my daughters nap time and the L-tyrosine was in full effect. So it doesn't seem to have ant negative effects on my sleep.

Nooooo... Why am i still laying in bed, its been 8 days taking my tyrosine. I will have to give it more time.
Although i thought i took a turn for the better last weekend having 4 hours of energy sat and sun.
Then back in bed. Im taking 75mg daily efexor and thought it may interupt with each other. The pharmacist lady who is also has a herbal background, researched for me and said they were fine together, and so did the health shop lady where i got it from. I just cannot get over my lack to move.
When i was using heroin i was never a downer, it gave me energy like crys meth did. Now im over 3 mths clean from subs and im getting very impatient.
I am thankful im clean but this is getting beyond a joke : )

http://www.neurosoup.com/supplements-vitamins/l-tyrosine/

per this link there is no addictive potential...buuuut, if we crave or "need' a substance or think we need a substance, I'd say that is addiction. But, I don't believe that there will be a physical component of addiction/dependence.

I can't answer your question, sorry, but I do need to ask, did you sleep well last night? I assume that this being day 2 you took some yesterday. I'm just terrified of anything else interfering with my sleep.

I read all these testimonies about L-tyrosine and decided to try it. I'm a few days shy of 8 months sober! And I still struggle with extreme fatigue. Today is my second day of trying the L-tyrosine and I can't believe how much better it makes me feel. It actually has me worried I could get addicted to it. Does anyone have any knowledge about possible addiction with this supplement? I hope not, as I finally feel like getting up off the couch and doing things. But I'm really careful these days about what I put in my body. Thanks for any advice!

You know we all want a quick fix to get better... Haha, i dont think anythings gonna get this train moving anytime soon !!!
Yes thank you i meant seratonin syndrome, i thought about it after and thought " seratone isnt even a word is it " haha i think im having a break down from laying in bed for almost 3 months...
All of you guys have awesome helpful advice, now if we could just move that from looking up our drug addiction, to a similar paying job roll, we'd actually be getting paid for all this good advice. Hmmm.... Something to think about  : )

Rhodiola for Anxiety

Rhodiola rosea is a flowering plant in the same family as the Jade Plant. Available in pill form, its active components offer many people almost instant relief from anxiety and depression. And Magnesium and Lavender oil are very good too <3 xxx

L TYROSINE is good i started taking it 2 days ago BUT be careful!! Day 1/ I had 1000mg in 500mg doses AM+PM fine. Day 2/ yesterday i had 1000mg AM +1000mg PM I been in the toilet ALL NITE!! Dying!! too much gives you the runs so just cut back.

S-ame is wonderful (another Amino acid) Great for depression, anxiety. lethargy pain,. Look it up . Was taking it but ran out and my re-order is taking ages!! We can't get it in UK so i send to USA. Some one said about 'Seratonin Syndrome' yep!! Certain things are worse than other's for

causing it and 5HTP is one of the worse and i took 1 and was in agony!! Every joint felt like i had Chronic WD+ its actually a KNOWN side effect of 5htp along with many others and SSRI's cause it big time!

KAVA KAVA This wonderful root works BETTER than Benzo's but it's banned in UK i took it before and came off a big dose of Benzos i was prescribe CT and NO WD'S at all! And thats why it's banned?

Its Total BS it hurts your liver Valium/Diazapam is the biggest selling Drug on the Planet and people were stopping it in their millions with Kava and the people they did 'Research'' on said them selves they were long time chronic alcoholics.

PASSION FLOWER and also SCULL CAP are really good for depression anxiety etc. There's a lot of Holistic remedies you can use do your research and don't take stuff just because its a miracle for some one else you GOT to do your own ground work. I been using Holistic healing for year's now since my Mother died i stepped up my 'Research'' and i do Experiments on myself too i helped a lot of people and i've been a member and regular poster on a Holistic web site for 6 year's now.

I used Herbs and Holistic remedies on and off since i was 34 and i'm now 54but i only knew about the ones i used. My Mum died from Cancer 7 years ago (Griefs a MFB!! ) and i made it my lifes work to find out all i could about using non Pharma Drugs and because i have things wrong caused by DR's and Hospitals Prescribe Drugs? T

oo long to go in to. But now i know as much as Holistic practitioners i go to or even more on times? Just because its 'Natural' don't mean its SAFE. And Vitamins should only be taken 5 day's on and 2 days break. This is because your body has to work hard to deal with 'Synthetics' and to stop you becoming 'VITAMIN DEPENDENT for life. I would write a lot more info but i'm in too much pain sorry. But PLEASE read as much as you can this stuff can be as deadly and ADDICTIVE as Chemicals. Love Tswana <3 xxx

I do agree with you, about living in our bodies the way they were designed. Eating proper nutrition and exercise should be enough. I have already been accused of being supplement crazy now lol I think I can get addicted to just about anything, so I will nix the supps as soon as I finish my taper. I am just weeks away! It seems so far, but in the grand scheme of my addiction, it's a drop in the bucket i suppose. ty for the advice

I used to take l tyro when I first quit and it did work quite well. For me though, it became another thing for me to chase. When I didn't get the surge of energy I felt myself wanting more and more and that is not what they are for. They are a great supplement but just be careful. We need to create our energy naturally, but in the beginning these supplements do help. I took 5htp, st john wart, sameE... They all were great but the effects did not last. I tried so many different thing, the best thing for me personally was to accept life without them. Everybody is different but that was my experience with those supplements.
God Bless SUNny
