Sam-e..anyone use it??

Just wondering if anyone has used Sam-e? I'm looking for anything that may get my brain functioning again :) I gave 5-htp a try..couldn't see any noticeable difference. Sam-e was suggested by FLaddict...so, I'm trying it now. Wow, this stuff is expensive :)

i started it (sam-e) a week ago because my mother said she takes it to lower her cholesterol, and my cholesterol is high. my mood is improving but im 6 months off the pills, ive tried all the aminos and cant say for sure what works and what doesnt, except of course a life dependant on pain meds, that doesnt work for me.

No help here.  When I can't get the brain kick started my husband always seems to be around to volunteer to jump start it with a sideways smart alec remark that makes me think hard to figure out what on earth he's talking about -- and then it seems to jump back on track.


Hmmmm..... now where did I leave that list of smart alec remarks?  I'd provide you the same service if I could think of one right now.
