hot, hot baths...wrap ur legs with ace wrap or massage and heat....ice cold temps in the bedroom and layer blankets..tonic water and iron supps/cal/mag before bed....just do the best u can....people who exercise daily are proven not to get rls as bad or if at all as those who do not....do you stay active and walk ach day?
thank you for your help.i just took a bath before i was going to try to get some sleep.it seemed to help for a short while but it has stoped working now.the rls seems to be the worst when i am trying to go to sleep.as far as staying active i can barley bring myself to get out of bed in the morning,i am trying soooo hard to quit and i have a three year old that demands my attention i hope this wont go on forever, becouse every min feels like a hell
I've never tried it but my friend was a herion addict for 6 years, she came off methodone after a year and had RLS really bad, she said ibprofin helped a lot as well as changing the position she slept. Can you take a hot bath? If you are in a safe neighborhood and have a dog try taking the dog for a walk. I know you don't feel like doing anything b/c ur soooo tired but those legs just won't stop. Walking really helps, I found my heating blanket helped as well. If you don't have ace bandages try pantyhose.
I'm so sorry you have to suffer tonight, I am praying for some relief for you. Please keep posting and we will be here if you need to cry, scream or vent.
Try to tense the muscles in your legs as hard as you can for a few seconds then release.
Eat a bannana! Pray!
thank you so much for your support.just the thought of a perfect stranger praying for me brings tears to my eyes,i am eating a bannana in hopes that it will help.i am going to walk around the house for a while and pray for you and myself.thank you your an angle
Sweetheart I know exactly how you feel tonight as I've been there many times. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself to fall asleep sometimes that will make it worse. I'm going to keep checking on you tonight and relief will come soon.
