i know it is the last thing u want to do but excercise. it really helped me. it got some of my endorphins goin plus it gave me a since of accomplishment. when i got a good workout n i found that i slept better. eat lots of fish and chicken and raw foods (fruits and veggies) if u have excess to one.. a sauna i found is very helpful. it sweats out the toxins and i think for me speeded the withdrawl process up.
congradulations on deciding to get clean. ur gonna be so much more happier. u can do this. good luck and keep posting for support. let us know how ur doing.
After about 4 days, you will feel a little better. Day 2-3 were the worse for me. Try to keep yourself busy everyday. Cut the grass, go for walks etc. You won't feel like it but push yourself. Drink lots of water and gatorade because you will be dehydrated. Eat bananas due to the drop in potassium. You will get through this--I promise! Keep posting to keep us updated--it's therapeutic too.
You can expect the first 72 hours to be the worst of it. Are you trying the Thomas Recipe? I found that it helped me a lot through this. Take a lot of hot baths. You can do this! We have been there and some of us are going through it now. Hang tight and Don't lose the fight! You can do this!
help 18 hrs without the ****, very doap sick how long is this going to last
It is wonderful you have decided to quit! The withdrawls are not pretty but they dont last too long. Immodium is one product that works wonders! Good luck to you and I wish you the best!!!
can you talk to your doc and ask for sleep pill to get you through wd? If not melatonin or valarian root. there is a health information page at top of this forum with the Thomas Recipe that will help ease wd symtoms. Lots immodium, gatorade, and lots of hot baths with Epsom salt for the bone and muscle pain. I used this and am on day 7 clean using same amount of norco as you guys. good luck and you can do it!!!!
