You are best alone. I started 2 days before xmas.  M worst day was xmas.  Full blown w/d with all the family here.  It was the worst day of my life.  Told everyone I had the flu.  Could not for them all to leave.

Thanks man and your right I am gonna make it. That is so true about the wife finding things for me to do. I guess i'm actually glad she is gone. God was I self pittying, sad,sad,sad.

Love, yes that story about that little girl is horrible. Makes you sick knowing there are people out there like that. That poor little girl never had a chance and it's just not right.

man that sux, she isnt being supportive, thats probably what my wife would do if she knew thats why i havent told her, so i guess this is your last chance to quit, you can do it man, dont let your life slip out of your hands, its kinda good that shell be gone til tues there wont be no one to nag you when you dont feel like doing anything, i have alot of trouble when trying to quit, you know how your muscles draw up and you just want to lay on the couch and not move, well my wife always seem to think of things i need to be doing when im resting on the couch, if you have any questions or need any help let me know im here for ya, please have strength, i have alot of faith in ya

she left to let me know if I dont get clean that she is gonna leave for good. I guess to give me an idea what it's gonna be like without her. She should be back Tuesday night. I hope,definately helps with the motivation factor

should have used the shock collar!!! you did say you did not want her to see the worse part of detox, maybe she is thinking of that. i know when i went through it i said something that made no sense to my hubby.

sorry to hear bout the family situation, its bad, but in a way itll be good, supplies you with more motivation, how long is she goin to be gone for, and did she leave b/c of your problem, i missed something

love my wife went to her moms house this morning to be with the kids. She came by the house gave me a hug,grabbed some stuff and left without saying goodbye. (getting mixed signals from her). I guess I can understand. It's got to be tough on her too if not tougher. Blot i'm out of beer man but I do have a closet full of wine LOL. I'm not planning on drinking much but I might have a glass or two and a xanax if I cant sleep later. I'll keep ya posted on how it goes and you stay in touch. I have failed a few times before but things have never gotten to this point with the wife and kids. 13 yrs is a long time and I dont want to screw it up.

good luck john, i got faith in ya, maybe if i see you making it i can make it, i think ive been through the first 2 days of w/ds bout 5 times now so i know what lies ahead when i quit, just postponing it as usual, if you drink beer remember it probably will help with the w/ds, but the next morning youll feel like **** on top of ****, so just watch your alcohol consumption, i still dont think 2-3 beers a night is bad, but my wife does and so far ive havent really drank alot since august, ive had a couple here and there, but never enough to get drunk

Hey there,good morning. Just woke up. I flushed my remaining pills this morning. I did'nt take any just flushed them. I did save my xanax for later when things get rough. So far so good but it's only been 12 or so hours since my last pill. Gonna try and get a few things done this morning before the **** hits the fan. Ohh and i'm gonna go make some coffee real quick too.
