help with quiting pain meds

i have been tapering down for three weeks now. i was taking anywhere from 80mg to 140mg a day, now im on 2.5 mg 4 times a day. my speech has began to slur i got pulled over this morning for weaving. is this normal to be weaving and slurring?

I have never heard of this maybe someone else has and they will post, I would get in to a doctor asap just my opinion maybe it has nothing to do with the pills and you should talk to a doctor just to be safe. I Know anxiety is normal after tapering down or going off but this doesnt sound like anxiety.
Have you ever had any issues like this in the past or a family member that has. I am babbling I Know just thinking it has nothing to do with the pills and could be something else I would get checked out by a doctor. Good luck and let me know how you are doing:)

I would get checked out by your doctor.  There may be more going on.  I know that some have trouble with their blood pressure when going off opiates.  I would be safe and see the doc.

is been going on about 3 days it will ease up then it will start back. its mostly the driving that affects me most. i may drive to town fine then on my way back be driving like im drunk but im not

did this just happen today? or has it happened before, It could have nothing to do with the pills But something else maybe you should see a doctor ASAP!
