i think she is saying she dropped from 7.5 mgs to 0.25 mgs? not sure....big drop tho
maybe shoulda went a bit slower,,,like 1/4 or 1/2 a week...but u r where u r and going back now is not always the best thing to do,,,continuing to move forward is what i would do...u gotta make it tolerable...the endorphins return but i am thinking u r not off the methadone yet? as mentioned above...can u clarify?
for most narcotic users it is a few months if they were heavy users....exercise kicks the endorphins in....i would feel normal when i was exericsing and for a while after..also the aminos in the thomas recipe help...ur dr can also prescribe things to help u thru this...what u r doing is a good thing..be sure u understand what u r doing so u can keep urself as comfy as u can
the health pages have an article of methadone tapering etc..a few of them..and they r good..accounts by peeps from beginning to end..keep posting
I do not understand what the question is. Are you on liquid methadone? Have you been going to a clinic? Do you take the methadone at the same time every day? I do not understand what you mean by when you are only four hours late? As far as your endorphins coming back, it is different for every one. Some right away, some six months and some never, it just depends on the person and the use and amount of time. It all depends on what kind and how much damage has been done to your brain. I have been on methadone for almost one year now, so I do have a little experience with it. I will help you in any way I can. Please make your question a little more clear for me.
Thinking of you
