Reading material that helped in recovery

Has there been any reading material that has been helpful during your recovery.  At first I found it really difficult to concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes.  I began reading this little book by Rick Warren, called "God's Answers to Life's Difficult Questions."  It was great in helping me see that even though I screwed up over and over again, God still loves me and hasn't given up hope in me.  This little book is the one that gave me the courage to sit my husband down and tell him that I had become addicted to sleeping pills.  We both cried, and I have been totally off the sleeping pills since January 2nd, pain pill since 5/22.

I found that little book at Wal-Mart for less that $10 bucks.  It is amazing how little sobriety costs but we don't want to accept it.  Yet we will spend thousands on our addictions and not think twice.
