STUPID STUPID STUPID

Please tell me how long anxiety and panic lasts after hydro w/d.Been off for 11 days all physical symptons are gone but the anxiety and panic are killing me no desire to use ever again didn't really want to use in first place same old story surgery,pain,hydro7.5/325 feel good use more to feel better then realize I got a problem lets get off this **** stoped taking them and here I am 11 days later with anxiety out the wazoo!!!!! especially upon waking,only getting about 5 hours of sleep at this point with an all natural sleep aid but this anxiety is killing me and it comes out of no where.Please tell me I won't be like this forever

thank you for the replies, I should have known better I went through benzo w/d' in december and thought I was gonna die,stopped cold turkey dr. prescribed and never abused,never took even the amount I was supposed to take. Have been doing the amino acid protocol and all thaat other good stuff but the anxiety is killing me and only in the morning when I wake up I wonder why?

the controlled breathing does work.
there are alot of herbs that help too. valarian root extract is what i used.
you can go to most any grocery store and find some good herbal teas. try one that has calming effects on it. nighty night is one that worked for me. you have to cover the cup of tea with something while it is steeping. for like 5 minutes for potency. some people have the opposite effect with hops which is in alot of teas. so try to stay away from that.

Congrats on 11 days!  The anxiety/panic is such terrible symptom of withdrawal.. Its one of those things you arent really prepared for and dont know how to treat... I had never had an anxiety attack until detox and was freaked out by it big time.. .. Im pretty sure yours should be subsiding soon.. give it another week.. you will NOT be like this forever!  It gets better.  Some things that helped me was deep breathing, even as simple as closing your eyes and slowly counting to 20 breathing deeply.  Also, exercise helped me. Taking walks with my headphones on and my favorite music blasting was a lifesaver.  It will come and go and eventually it will go.  Good luck and take care!
