i've seen people inject whisky an ex boyfriend and his friend deciided to try it one day for some reason. i can't remember to well but i don't think it really did that much to them. Made them feel a bit drunk for few mins then wore off quickly from what i can remember.
it's scarey how some of us can end up like that (us=addicts of course). it sounds like they should have kept him instead of discharging him! people w/ little or no money can get some type of healthcare, can't they? maybe not the best healthcare...but?? i don't know anything about that...and now i sound snotty. sorry, i'm being sincere though...
wow! That's just too much.
I have never heard of that either! Poor guy!
Beach - you made up the peanut butter thing!! That's too far beyond for me to even... yeesh!
Did the guy injecting peanut butter turn his mind to jelly, too? And, I assume it was creamy and not chunky..ouch. (Sorry, I just couldn't resist)
I can't remember which one it was..but either Prince William or Harry one was photographed snorting a shot of vodka at a party. Never knew people did that either. Sounds stupid..just like injecting it. It's crazy what we can do to ourselves.
When I was in my heavy Heroin days there was a guy who used to shoot peanut butter......
he said it reduced his W/Ds inbetween using.........
poor guy...this just proves that alcohol IS the worst drug out there to date...i think anyway...and its legal...almost laughable...
Well... he was in a three week detox and they discharged him this morning. Since he's flat broke, I guess...a day??? But he hasn't been *high* for three weeks,
I can't believe they sent him out like this. It makes you sick to see this level of indifference.
that is so sad...and you said he is clean now? for how long do you know?
I honestly didn't know what kind of help this guy COULD get. He was really messed up, and I think the damage is just permanent. He said he was working in some job a an assistant manager for some company, talked about going back to work. I didn't believe it until he showed me a beat up old I.D. from some company...it was dated from five years ago!
Five years ago this guy could actually work and think, and now he's practically a vegetable.
I have to admit, it disturbed me so much I took the rest of the day off and just came home. (Advantages of volunteer work :) ) I rarely meet someone who I look at and just shake my head and say "There's no hope for this person I can see." I think they're going to have to send him to a hospital, and his best bet will be to be institutionalized.
wow...no never heard of it...sounds EXTREMELY dangerous though...poor guy..is he getting help for this problem?
