Strange Question, PLEASE HELP

Ok, I am a long time oxycodone user, taking roughly 60-90 mg a day without abusing (I'm prescribed more, just won't take them.) I have recently started losing weight and getting bad night sweats causing me to have to move because I have soaked through all my bedding. Am I over reacting to my body's opiate addiction, or should I go to a doctor. My biggest fears are HIV or cancer in some form. Can anyone help me?

i would think that your body has gotten a tolerance to the meds and you are starting to w/d in the night. However if you are at risk for HIV a simple blood test can answer your questions, also if you sat around and fear HIV all day you could be suffering from panic attacks at night causing your problems

if you think you have hiv a simple blood test and waiting 10 minutes in a little box of a room will give you that answer....and it only costs 13$...GO GET THE TEST!

and cancer...what kind of cancer do you fear?

but ya, it could just be you withdrawing in the middle of your sleep.

i just recently went to the dr.s and was tested for everything you could possibly imagine.  i have not been in so long, i was so scared.  everything came back just fine.  i cannot tell you the amount of stress lifted off of my shoulders.  best feeling ever.

go see your dr.

Maybe your body has grown a tolerance and it is just when you are sleeping your withdrawals are beginning? That's what happened to me on vicodin after a couple of years.
