Spouses addiction

He doesn't work bec of an injury but is addicted to pain pills. Tonight I found his stash of illegal drugs. He uses then watches porn all night.
I'm the only one that works. I can't do this anymore. We own a house and I can't lose it bec of him. I have nowhere else to go. I'm at a loss what to do.  Any advice would be greatly helpful

Hi Rose,

I'm sorry you're in such a tough spot.  It's hard to give advice in this sort of situation not knowing the whole story.  Are you truly done with him and just want a divorce?  If that's the case then the best advice I can think of would be to talk to an attorney.  If you would rather he cleaned up and got a job then I'd ask have you tried to get him to get help?  Have you told him that you're fed up and ready to leave unless he gets clean etc?  What is he addicted to?

We aren't officially married. He was in an auto accident and can't work but I also feel he's not being completely truthful about the pain. I think it's too get the pills.  I've asked him at least 3 times in the last 2 years to stop. And I thought he had but signs started creeping in.
If I tell him I'm leaving he tells me to go ahead but with nothing. Our house has $100k equity in it I'm absolutely not walking away with nothing and he has told me he will never lose this house. I don't know what to do. His doc is m$th.
Oh and hydrocodone.
Wow, meth is some bad stuff.  Makes peope paranoid, sometimes delusional, aggressive etc.  .  I'm so sorry you're dealing with this.  I hate to say it but the best move sounds like getting legal help to force him to either sell the house and split the proceeds or to buy you out at todays price.

Thank goodness you're not married and don't have children with him.
