Often getting up and walking will help with the legs! Sitting can make it worse..says the lady who hates walking! :) Get up and get active, it will help!
Get the Hylands and minerals too!!!
Get off the couch starting tomorrow! It's been a month...LOL!
you sure you're not friends with her?? she been on my *** to help around the house but i'm way to lazy to do anything but watch tv. but i think i'm getting better every day. up and down but definitely better than i was 2 weeks ago. i'll get the epsom for my baths. that should help my god damn legs. thanks.
No. Not the same. It has to be Epsom salts. Plus, the Hylands works great, too. I guess you'll have to go tomorrow or promise her something good if she'll go tonight. Offer to wash the kitchen floor. That will work!
You need this stuff to help you get comfortable...
thanks vicki595. i think gf is sick of running to the store but we have table salt. ??
... and thank you all for the advice.
Epsom salts in the bath water really work for those legs and I mean it. They contain magnesium which is absorbed through your skin. Our muscles get depleted of minerals when on opiates along with the stress to the CNS. You just need to replace all this stuff. Your GF is smart to make you eat bananas...maybe she'll run to Walgreen's and get the Epsom!
yeah. i'll sit on the couch leaning way back and try to sleep that way. GF been making me eat bananas everyday for potassium or some ****. and i take hot bathes too but ****** hell... the steps you have to take just to get a little sleep!!!!
It's a normal symptom and it's awful! Here's what you do: Get some Hyland's Restless Leg tabs @Walgreen's/Walmart AND get some potassium/magnesium tablets; take as directed. This will work quickly and should help a lot. Continue to drink water and juices.
Another thing that helps is very hot baths with Epsom salts. You won't believe how good it feels! The RLS is worse if you lay flat so try another position if you can...
Good luck!
I know exactly how you feel. It's been exactly one month for me and my legs are STILL killing me. It's the main reason why I can't sleep.
