tyrosine is not a good choice in the part of detox where u r every anxious/if u r anxious as it is a dopamine enhancer and speeds u up...very little effect on seratonin and phenylalinine works much like tyrosine and bot are good at 2000-3000 mg unles u r extremely anxious..i was like a dead jelly fish so i had no problem with them at all....others r extremely anxious...tyrosine would be compared to Wellbutrin in a way if u were to compare it to an AD and has little effect on seratonin levels
5htp affects seratonin..good for sleep and depression....its effects are in a way comparable to ssris..lexapro/zoloft/celexa/prozac/paxil/all of these are ssri or seratonin uptake inhibitors...doses of 100 mg 3 x a day r good during detox..if u r on an ssri then staying at 50-100 mg a day is safest...but also remembering that all of these aminos are found in foods especially proteins so u can not avoid them even if try unless u r a strict vegetarian and then u will still get some as beans are fulll of aminos and 5htp/turkey is the highest and is the reason people sleep after thanksgiving dinner!
Theanine is found in real green T/the chinese stuff and is calming yet stimulating and is good for all phases prn for anxiety
If u have an anxiety disorder then tyrosine should be used with common sense...when i drink it/i use the powdered from mixed with EmergenC/i feel it almost immdiately and it does have a stimulant effect
Look in the" health pages" there is somethig called the amnio acid protocal its diffrent supplemts that can help with withdrawl however If you are taking anti depressants or tramadol you need to wait until you are off of them to take L,tyrosine 5htp and sam e ....
What is the correct amounts for this recipee to work and how do you take it? I read on one post the T-L for example should not be taken until the 4th day? Is there anyone that can give a specific step by step and amounts that are correct? To say go get T-L or HTP is not enough? There are many brands and different potents to these supplements? How much do you take..etc.

I so, so ,so agree...if people would just try this at the recommended amounts.....they would see how great it is...unfortunately i did not do it correctly till a while after detox when i was melting into the couch and was gonna relapse if i didnt do something...i had all the stuff but was not taking near enough and not consistently..it saved me..along with exercise..i am almost sure of it!
